U Know U Jelly

Have you ever wanted to have a little piece of the sea hanging up on your wall? Well this piece may be for you! Sewn entirely in my home studio, U Know U Jelly captures the tranquility of the ocean floor, inspired by a litany of ocean documentaries!

Each color was carefully considered and picked to contrast well with each other, and to bring a slice of the ocean to live in your very living room! But that’s not all! The colors and shading may vary depending on where you put it. This gives you the ultimate freedom to determine the kind of atmosphere you want to capture!

This quilt top was created using freeform piecing and my own vision, there is no pattern so it is a one of a kind piece. I quilted it to enhance the waves of the ocean. The kelp, jellyfish, and rainbow fish are all raw edge applique to add an ethereal quality to those elements.

At 46" x 47", this is one of my largest art pieces to date. Each of the fabrics is carefully sewn together by machine, but the binding on the back is sewn entirely by hand.

This piece includes 2 corner pockets and a 1" hanging sleeve for full support. A dowel or flat rod work best to ensure the quilt hangs flat. Hanging rod is NOT included in purchase.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped with the quilt.

Please note: This is a fiber art piece and is not machine washable or dryable. To keep it clean, simply use a lint roller, or brush attachment on your vacuum, to maintain its beauty.
