Sunrise/Sunset

Named after the iconic song in the classic Fiddler on the Roof (1971), this piece captures the profound depth and beauty intrinsic to the rising and setting of the sun. This unique piece will bring serenity to any atmosphere. It is my personal favorite quilt I’ve sewn to date.

Designed entirely by hand, each piece is carefully hand cut and sewn. Every curve is stitched entirely within my home studio. The wavy lines and dense quilting both add depth and dynamism to each of the colors in this piece. This way, the gradient between the deep flaming sky and earthy soil are depicted viscerally. The texture, tone, and shading of the colors vary depending on where you choose to hang it, allowing you to find the perfect spot for this piece to pop!

Sunrise/Sunset is 21″ x 25.5" and is perfectly sized for a variety of spaces. I have also framed it within itself, evoking the imagery of a portrait or tapestry, to which you can also use as such!

This piece includes 2 corner pockets for hanging. A dowel or flat rod work best to ensure the quilt hangs flat. Hanging rod is NOT included in purchase.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped with the quilt.

Please note: This is not machine washable or dryable. To keep it clean, simply use a lint roller, or brush attachment on your vacuum, to maintain its beauty.
