Inferno Sky

Inspired by customer suggestions, this piece attempts to capture a deep red sky. Is it from a wildfire? Is it a sunset? You decide! Either way, there's beauty to be found in the end of the world, which is one of our most endearing qualities as a species: to find meaning in the morbid. Whether you want to rock a red October, or capture the poisoned smokey sky that we’ve all come accustomed to, this quilt is surely to bring warmth inside your home.

At 50” x 50”, this is my largest piece to date, and will surely carry the gravity of the flaming sunset with every seam and stitch. Ideal locations would be general family areas, such as your living room and dining room, adding an enormous artistic flare to an otherwise routine and cozy setting.

This quilt top was created using freeform piecing and my own vision, there is no pattern so it is a one of a kind piece. I quilted it to enhance the waves of the piecing.

This piece includes 2 corner pockets and a 1" hanging sleeve for full support. A dowel or flat rod work best to ensure the quilt hangs flat. Hanging rod is NOT included in purchase.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped with the quilt.

Please note: This is a fiber art piece and is not machine washable or dryable. To keep it clean, simply use a lint roller, or brush attachment on your vacuum, to maintain its beauty.
